RCG Traction department provides technical and managerial services; we provide site managers, engineers, and technicians where our teams are polyvalent in their job descriptions on site.
RCG traction department was founded in 2003. Our first projects was supporting ALSTOM Traction Department and providing site engineers and technicians on its Diesel engine locomotive projects. Our first project was the AD33C in Syria, giving technical support and managing the site accordingly. Some of the projects executed were AD32C in Srilanka, AD33C in Syria, AD43C in Iran, BB460000’s shunting locomotive between France and Spain, and BB475000 2 MWatts diesel engine in France.
Over the years, RCG traction expanded its scope of work to include assisting in modification designs of newly manufactured locomotives and employing service engineers and technicians on sites worldwide for executing electrical, mechanical and diesel jobs.
Today, RCG team employs service engineers and technicians all over the world. Projects are conducted, controlled and executed in France, Spain, Syria, Iran, Srilanka, and other Arab Countries and the Far East. RCG Traction Department is in continuous development and improvement executing projects as a sub-contractor to major contractors such as ALSTOM, SIEMENS, BOMBARDIER, VOSSLOH and other traction companies.
We provide services and man power on the design and after sales levels.
RCG is part of technical modification teams giving technical support in design projects. Some of our tasks include:
1. Technical support and writing technical specifications to perform the pre-commissioning and commissioning tests on sites.
2. Contribution to the design and modification processes of the newly manufactured diesel electric locomotives.
3. Meeting Norms and Standards in the manufacturing and design Departments of major traction firms.
